FUTURE PLANS

Data is being sorted to determine cause of death and/or disappearance, as well as to discover observable patterns that exist between the weevil and its host plants. As the data is sorted and made into a presentable format, it will be added to this Web site.

Other Objectives
1. To continue monitoring those areas already being monitored.
2. To map and begin monitoring new areas in Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge, Highlands Hammock State Park and Myakka River State Park.
3. To map new regions, including the Fakahatchee Strand, Estero Bay Buffer Preserve, the Panther Refuge, and St. Sebastion Preserve.
4. To further refine the organization, comprehension and presentation of the data.
